Adele returned to the concert stage this weekend after recovering from an unexpected illness.
At Saturday night’s performance of her extended “Weekends With Adele” residency in Las Vegas, the 16-time Grammy winner revealed that she was recently diagnosed with a yeast infection known as “jock itch” after performing under hot stage lights for long periods of time. .
“You know what my doctor gave me? Also known as tinea cruris, jock itch is a condition similar to ringworm and athlete’s foot that causes an itchy, itchy rash on the skin, usually in the groin and inner thighs. It is especially common among male athletes.

In March, Adele announced plans to extend the residency with an additional 34 shows and document the concert on film. She is currently scheduled to perform at Caesars Palace through November 4th.
