Billie Eilish is calling out “bozos” who leave nasty comments on her Instagram about her fashion choices.
The Grammy-winning singer took to social media over the weekend to applaud people who called her a “sellout” for changing her style to a more feminine look. BuzzFeed reported.
“Letter to some comments I’m seeing sometimes…” began the message on his Instagram story, which is no longer available.
“I spent the first 5 years of my career being absolutely OBLITERATED by fools for being a boy and dressing the way I did and constantly being told I’d like it better if I acted like a woman,” she explained.
Over the years, Eilish, who has become known for playing by her own fashion rules, has been spotted rocking everything from purple space buns to blonde pinup looks.
She continued: “and now when I’m comfortable enough to wear anything remotely girly or tight, I’ve changed and I’m sold out…and ‘what happened to her’ oMg IT’S NOT THE SAME BILLIE she’s just like the rest blah blah… you guys are real idiots. LOL. I can be both you fucking bozos. LET WOMEN EXIST!”

“FUN FACT! did you know women are multifaceted!!!!!??? shocking right?? believe it or not women can be interested in many things,” Eilish wrote. “Also femininity does not equal weakness???!!!! Oh my goodness?! crazy right? Who knew??”
“Suck my dick and balls, women who hate weird asses,” the “Happier Than Ever” artist concluded.
In December, the crooner opened up to NME about how sticking to the same style for so long “haunted” her, so she changed it because she wanted to “have range and feel desirableand feel feminine and masculine”.
Eilish, who first hit the music scene with her signature green features and baggy dresses, also said The Sunday Times Last June that just being known for her baggy clothes was “driving me crazy.”
He also addressed the naysayers three years earlier in a Calvin Klein campaign, sharing that wear loose clothes because she never “wants[s] the world to know all about me.”
“I mean, that’s why I wear big, baggy clothes – nobody can have an opinion because they haven’t seen what’s underneath,” she said in a video for the brand.
Eilish’s recent comments on Instagram aren’t the first time the star has had to defend herself against haters and their unsolicited opinions about her style.

When the “Ocean Eyes” singer outraged fans after appearing on a British Vogue cover in her underwear in June 2021, she had a piece of advice for anyone facing backlash.
“Dress as you want, act as you want, talk as you want, be as you want,” Eilish said in a Vanity Fair interview in November 2021. “That’s all I’ve ever said. It’s just being open to new things and not letting people bring you down.”
