The Delhi Finance Department has asked all the top secretaries, secretaries and heads of all departments to provide a detailed assessment of the fiscal stress and risk of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led government.
Departments have also received a set of questionnaires to prepare the detailed report. The last date to submit the report is June 3rd.
According to senior officials, the finance department has written a letter to all departments following the order of the central government. “The letter was issued in the first week of this month and the report was requested on May 11. The questionnaire was received from the Department of Economic and Political Research, as the governor of the RBI wants a detailed assessment of the tax stress and risk of different states and UTs, ”read the letter issued by the Delhi finance department.
Officials said the department has not yet submitted the report, so the state resources division of the finance department has re-ordered the departments to send the detailed information collected before June 3 as a matter of priority.

Following the Centre’s order, the Delhi finance department has also asked its entire department to provide details on the amount of government grants for food, energy, agriculture and others from 2019-2020 to 2022-23, the number of times he faced. natural disaster and the approximate cost incurred by the state due to it and whether guarantees granted by the government have been made / invoked in the last five years and what is the approximate value of the guarantees made.
They have also been asked to provide details on whether it has rescued troubled financial institutions, municipal corporations and non-tax companies in the past five years. Departments will also be required to submit data on the number of employees working in the 50-55 and 55-60 age range (cadre) for the assessment of the pension burden over the next 10 years.
