Leave it to Emily Ratajkowski to find a bold and fashionable way to beat the summer heat.
The model was in Paris to attend Loewe’s spring-summer 2024 menswear show on Saturday, looking effortlessly chic in a black leather trench coat and knee-high boots.
When asked by reporters how she managed to stay cool amid the French capital’s balmy temperatures, Ratajkowski offered a simple, but instantly memorable explanation.
“Inappropriately, obviously,” he joked. “I’m naked under this, but I’m going to change.”
Despite Ratajkowski’s statement, it’s unclear if she opted for a less natural ensemble before the start of the show.
The photos showed the model still in her trench coat as she sat next to South Korean musician Taeyong and Hu Yitian, a Chinese actor.
Ratajkowski, who has made headlines on both sides of the Atlantic with her unconventional style, recently opened up about her decision to stop acting, despite an impressive debut in 2014’s “Gone Girl.”
“It didn’t feel like, ‘Oh, I’m a performing artist and this is my outlet,'” she told the Los Angeles Times in April. “I felt like a piece of meat that people were judging and saying, ‘Is there something more to her?’ [breasts]?’”
Saying she was tired of making herself “digestible to the powerful men in Hollywood,” Ratajkowski said she recently fired her acting agent, sales rep and manager.
“I didn’t trust them,” he explained. “I said, ‘I can handle taking phone calls. I’m going to make those decisions. Neither of you have my best interest at heart. And they all hate women’”.
