The parents of a Ukrainian woman who was allegedly brutally raped and killed by Russian soldiers have explained their lovelessness in a terrible interview.
The body of “beautiful” Karina Yershova, 23, was found mercilessly thrown into a garden in a war-torn devastation in Bucha.
His mutilated body was found with “tears” and “wounds”, while all but one of his nails had been torn off.
Police told her family that Karina had been murdered and tortured, but did not reveal all the details, as they were “so horrible”.
The 23-year-old was allegedly raped, shot in the back of the head and dumped in the backyard by vile Putin henchmen.
His parents believe he had “desperately tried to fight” the troops while fighting for his life.
The brave Ukrainian had even managed to make a tourniquet to stop the bleeding of a bullet wound in the leg.
Now her mother Olena and stepfather Andrii Dereko have spoken of her grief and outrage over the horrific murder of her only daughter.
Fighting tears, her mother told Ukraine24: “The police said she was severely tortured.
“My girl wanted to live so long. She even applied tourniquets to stop the bleeding.”
Andrii added: “Her legs were shot. Then, with a shot to the head, she was killed.”
The couple previously called Russian soldiers “animals” as the scope of the atrocities in Bucha began to emerge.
More than 400 bodies were found in the city after the depraved Moscow army withdrew through the suburbs of Kyiv.
Karina, who had been running a local sushi bar while saving money for college, disappeared from Bucha in early March.
Her mother asked for information about her whereabouts on social media before her body was found with “almost half of her head missing.”
The 23-year-old was last seen alive on the stairs outside her flat, before a neighbor saw a woman fit her slain description.
The man, named Valerii, recalled: “He put her here like that, with her head tilted back.
My little girl really wanted to live. Tourniquets were even applied to stop the bleeding.
“Then he took her in his arms and carried her there. Then another soldier shot her.”
Ukrainian Commissioner for Human Rights Lydmila Denysova said Russian troops were using rape as a weapon against civilians.
He described his ill-fated taunts and threats as allegedly attacking the victims as “signs of genocide of the Ukrainian people.”
Creepy stories have continued to emerge from the front lines, as Putin’s invaders have been accused of committing indescribable war crimes.
An account by Bucha stated that a 14-year-old girl had been raped in a group and pregnant by Russian soldiers.
Another involved a mother who was allegedly abducted and raped by Chechen soldiers before her throat was cut.
And Ms Denysova previously claimed that Putin’s troops had called a teenager “too ugly” to rape her, before forcing her to watch her mother and sister die.
While a creepy phone call intercepted between a Russian soldier and his wife heard her giving her husband permission to rape Ukrainian women.
Sexual assault has spread so badly in Ukraine that girls cut their hair short to avoid being attacked by Russian butchers.
