ALEXANDRIA, VA – Strength, courage, determination and energy are the premises behind the creation of Ms. moxie’s moonshop, career property nurse and entrepreneur Ann Ile.
Saturday October 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. with will launch a new PMS chocolate, Bebloommade by Nestlé Chocolate Company. This latest marriage with Nestlé is a major draw of the four-month-old shop, which carries many other vintage chocolate brands.
The recent development Bebloom Milk chocolate, with soothing herbs and hints of caramel and ginger, relieves PMS cramps and promotes relaxation. Be among the first to taste and see the design of the chocolate, which will be available in the special event room located at Ms. Moxie’s. Even Carlos, the Nestlé food scientist, will be there to greet people!
with explains that this is the only vintage shop in the country. “Everyone loves the store and they can talk about anything” as they come in and discuss anything related to women’s and girls’ bodies. Issues that were once silenced or considered taboo to discuss openly are now at the heart of the store’s existence. The store has become a safe space to increase knowledge and connect with others.
Ile’s offers a wide variety of organic and organic products made by women-owned companies. Among the many favorite items are menstrual cups, period panties made from organic cotton, leaky pads, vulvar balms, first bras, postpartum and perimenopause products and a large assortment of books, candles and gifts for people of all ages.
As stated in Ms. Moxie’s house page: “We have a mission to destigmatize and eliminate the taboo surrounding menstruation and menopause. We believe it is no longer acceptable for women and girls to feel shame, intimidation and embarrassment when purchasing feminine hygiene products. We want to raise awareness that period poverty exists in our society and we are committed to giving to people who need it.”
