Sant Bernat will hold the small business summit
The St. Bernard Economic Development Foundation will hold its second annual Small Business Summit from 12:30 to 5:00 p.m. on November 10 at the Nunez Community College Arts, Science and Technology Building, 3710 Paris Road, in Chalmette.
The free event will provide resources and tools for small businesses looking for opportunities to get ahead.

Fidelity Bank honored by bankers group
Fidelity Bank won a Brand Slam Award from the American Bankers Association at the organization’s recent annual marketing conference.
Fidelity was recognized for the best public relations and community engagement campaign for its POWER Plates initiative. POWER Plates is a month-long celebration of women in the state’s hospitality industry held every July.
POWER is Fidelity’s “Women’s Entrepreneurial Potential Realized” program, which aims to raise awareness and drive business for women-led restaurants in Southeast Louisiana.
The 2021 campaign raised nearly $20,000 in donations.
